Many mothers have been known to have hair treatment while breastfeeding.Although information and studies on hair colouring and breast feeding is limited, there are no evidence that suggest that hair colouring has adverse effects on breastfeeding.It is thought that the amount of chemicals that is absorbed by a healthy scalp and passed on through the breast milk is very minimal. However, as in every aspect while breastfeeding, it is advisable to have hair colouring/ treatment in moderation.
