Super Mom:
The stereotypical super mom has a fulfilling career, spends time with her kids, maintains a perfectly clean home, and always manages to look stylish. Doesn’t that sound perfect?
SAHM:
The stay-at-home-mom stereotype is often frumpy and has no interests outside of her kids. She’s the mom with drab hair, wearing sweats or high-waisted jeans and sneakers all the time. We all have a bit of this frumpy mom in us, but some women go beyond lounging in sweats at home and missing the occasional shower. If you now realize that the word comfortable (with no room for fun, sexy, or up-to-date) describes your wardrobe in its entirety, you might just be that SAHM mom.
Gossipy Mom:
This mom will know everything about you in a few seconds and she’ll spread it around to the neighbors just as fast. If you find yourself badmouthing someone else’s parenting skills to another mom on the schoolyard… well.. need we say more?
Gear Mom:
Now this is the mom you need to have around. Her huge baby-bag is stuffed with extra baby gear for anyone who might need them. Bottles, wipes and complete outfits? She’ll have it all. No matter the event, she’s prepared with a variety of baby gear at all times. Just check your bag to know if this is you.
Trendy Mom:
When she’s near, the latest ‘baby’ gadgets are too. She has the newest digital monitors and a high-fashion baby bag. She’s trying on baby sign language for size, employing Feng Shui in the nursery, and is studying attachment parenting books. We know it’s easy to get caught up on the new-parent mayhem, remember that you don’t need to be on top of every parenting philosophy or baby trend to be a good parent.
